Always an avid reader and writer, she began writing professionally in 2017 when she wrote “Sadie the Miracle Worker,” which was published in May of that year. She is also published in the January/February issue of Angels on Earth, a Guideposts publication.
In January 2019, L.M. returned to Westchester Community College in Valhalla, New York to teach courses in creative writing and music – in the early 2000s she was an adjunct professor of music at the WCC Peekskill Division. Her courses are being adapted for the web and will be offered online sometime in 2020. She is constantly developing new courses for her students and encourages all aspiring writers to join a writers group for help, support, and encouragement with their writing. For anyone residing in Westchester County, NY, L.M. has a writer’s group that meets regularly at her home, and others that meet occasionally at local libraries. If you’re interested in attending one of her groups, please email her through this website.
After a long career in IT, L.M. retired in 2016 and now, along with her writing and teaching, she enjoys being a public speaker, tutor, and is putting her degree in psychology to good use as a life coach. She enjoys playing piano and cello and spending as much time as possible with her two dogs, Sadie and Oreo.
